你既然看过章振邦的书，该书肯定对你说1和3二句是有歧义的。一般依据上下文可以做出正确判断。假如没上下文且需要防止歧义，最好不要把比较分句省略到只剩一个名词。假如一种省略会致使误解或歧义，这种省略就是欠考虑的，也是应该防止的。
2句和4句中不省略谓语动词，则明确告诉读者Tom是主语。假如Tom不是主语而是介词with的宾语，则比较分句应该为than with Tom. 假如his brother不是主语而是宾语，则比较分句应该为 than he does his brother. does替代loves。
